About the Organization
The Agriculture Skill Council of India (ASCI) is a not-for-profit organization under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India. Through the Centres of Excellence for Agriculture Skills in India (CEASI), ASCI works to strengthen agricultural skilling, capacity building, innovation, and sustainable development across the country.

💼 Experience Required
Minimum 10 years of experience in horticulture, agri-development, CSR, NGOs, FPOs, government projects, or allied sectors
Experience in project management, farmer engagement, and capacity-building initiatives preferred
Strong stakeholder management and partnership-building experience
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Lead horticulture skilling, farmer capacity-building, and community development programs
Design and implement training, field demonstrations, and rural outreach initiatives
Manage project planning, execution, budgets, monitoring, and reporting
Build partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, FPOs, corporates, and research institutions
Develop impact assessments, case studies, communication strategies, and stakeholder engagement activities
✅ Desired Skills
Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills
Experience in farmer training, extension services, and rural development
Ability to prepare proposals, reports, presentations, and funding documents
Knowledge of monitoring & evaluation (M&E) and impact assessment frameworks
Willingness to travel extensively to rural areas and field locations
🎓 Educational Qualification
M.Sc. Agriculture (Horticulture) / B.Sc. Horticulture with MBA (Agribusiness/Rural Management)
M.Sc. / Ph.D. in Horticulture, Agronomy, Soil Science, Post-Harvest Management, Extension Education, or related disciplines
