Position Summary
The Vegetables Development Breeder is responsible for developing superior vegetable seed products through advanced breeding strategies, field evaluation, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration. The role focuses on delivering customer-centric products while supporting innovation, sustainability, and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
Execute breeding and product development strategies aligned with market and customer needs.
Conduct field evaluations, analyze performance data, and support product advancement decisions.
Collaborate with R&D, Data Science, Phenotyping, and Commercial teams to ensure successful pipeline delivery.
Develop and implement innovative breeding, phenotyping, and data analytics approaches.
Support product launches, knowledge transfer, and customer-facing technical activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
PhD in Plant Breeding, Genetics, Data Science, or a related field with 4+ years of experience, or MS degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
Strong understanding of breeding programs, genetics, and data-driven product development.
Experience working with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive technical initiatives.
Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
