Role Overview:
Syngenta is hiring an Associate Scientist to support rice breeding and hybrid development programs in India. The role involves developing high-performing rice hybrids using modern breeding technologies and working with cross-functional R&D teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead hybrid and parental line development for rice breeding programs
Plan and execute breeding projects for improved rice varieties
Use technologies like Double Haploid (DH), speed breeding, and genomics tools
Analyze breeding and trial data and prepare technical reports
Coordinate with breeding, trialing, and technology teams
Support development of market-oriented, high-yielding rice hybrids

Required Skills:
Knowledge of plant breeding/genetics
Good data analysis and computer skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Organizational and project management skills
