Field Coordinator – Seed Production (Foundation & Certified Seed)

Krishi Vikas Sahakari Samiti Ltd. (KVSSL) is looking for a dedicated Field Coordinator to manage approximately 300 hectares of Foundation and Certified Seed Production in Gariyaband District, Chhattisgarh. The role involves coordinating with seed growers, ensuring compliance with State Seed Certification Agency norms, monitoring crop performance, and maintaining quality standards throughout the seed production cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
– Coordinate Foundation and Certified Seed Production across approximately 300 hectares.
– Mobilize and support seed growers throughout the production cycle.
– Ensure compliance with State Seed Certification Agency guidelines, including isolation distance, rouging, varietal purity, crop inspections, and documentation.
– Conduct regular field visits and provide technical guidance on agronomic practices, pest and disease management, and crop quality.
– Facilitate field inspections by certification officials and ensure timely compliance with observations.

Qualification: Diploma in Agriculture or B.Sc. Agriculture.
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Seed Production, Seed Certification, or related agricultural field operations.

Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Foundation and Certified Seed Production.
• Understanding of seed certification standards and field inspection procedures.
• Experience with documentation and compliance requirements.
• Fluency in Hindi.
• Knowledge of Chhattisgarhi is desirable.
